Pardot is B2B Marketing Automation by Salesforce, allowing marketing and sales teams to create, deploy, and manage online marketing campaigns that
increase revenue and maximize efficiency.
As a part of the Salesforce Partner Program, Pardot helps empower marketers with lead nurturing, lead scoring, and ROI reporting, resulting in:
- higher-quality sales leads
- shorter sales cycles
- improved marketing accountability
- better campaign tracking, and more
- - All partner contracts state that any public mention of salesforce.com or any of its brands MUST be approved by Salesforce
- - All materials must be submitted via our Google form to obtain approval for any public mention of Salesforce.

- - Approval of partner press releases can take up to 14 days for Summit and Crest level partners, and up to 30 days for all other partners.
Pardot's network of partners aims to give our growing client base access to reliably skilled implementation and service partners, specializing in Marketing Automation knowledge. Because providing first-in-class services continues to be a hallmark of Pardot's business, we believe that our partners are a cornerstone in ensuring the best experience for every customer.
The requirements to earn a Pardot Specialization in Implementation or Salesforce Engage are listed below:
- Salesforce Registered Consulting Partners (minimum tier)
- 5 Salesforce Certified Pardot Consultants
- 10 Registered Projects with Pardot in the Partner Community
- 4 Customer Success Stories with Pardot
- 4 Pardot Customer Stories (with approval to use a Sales Reference)
A: Starting November 11, 2016, the Salesforce Certified Pardot Consultant credential has been updated to reflect content that is more in line with the current Pardot implementation experience. These changes reflect the evolving needs in the marketplace, and allow the credential to remain more functionally relevant.
Q: Where can I find information about the newly updated credential? A: You can visit our website and review the Exam Guide for details about the new exam, audience description, and exam outline.
Q: What is the prerequisite requirement for the newly updated credential? A:The prerequisite requirement has changed with the newly updated Pardot Consultant exam. Previously, there were no prerequisite requirements; however, it has been identified that the Pardot Specialist credential ensures adequate toolset knowledge before qualifying as a Consultant. Therefore, the Salesforce Certified Pardot Specialist credential is now the prerequisite for the Salesforce Certified Pardot Consultant exam.
Q: What are the maintenance requirements for the newly updated credential? A: The maintenance requirements have changed with the newly updated Certified Pardot Consultant credential. Previously, Pardot Consultants would maintain their credential by completing Pardot Consultant release exams three times a year. Now that the Pardot Specialist is the prerequisite, Certified Pardot Consultants will maintain their credential by completing the Salesforce Certified Pardot Specialist release exams, published once per year. Q: How does this change affect existing Certified Pardot Consultant credential holders? A: All individuals who earned the Salesforce Certified Pardot Consultant credential on or before October 27, 2016 will need to update their credential to align with these changes. Q: Where do I go for certification/training resources so I can successfully pass my Salesforce Certified Pardot Consultant exam?
A: Navigate to the Salesforce Certification homepage to find our study guide, links to training modules in the Salesforce Training Catalog (search for “Pardot”), and exam registration details.
Q: How do I submit a Pardot lead for referral credit?
A: Use the same process as you would for a Salesforce lead. In the Salesforce Partner Community:
- Go to the Business Console
- Select New Lead
- Fill out the form
- Be sure to select Pardot from the “Primary Product of Interest” drop-down menu
Q: How can I get quickly ramped up on Pardot?
A: We recommend purchasing Pardot with an internal implementation, so you can experience first-hand what a quality Pardot implementation looks like from one of our implementation specialists, as well as get quickly ramped up on Pardot. This, in tandem with our certification resources, is the best way to become an expert in Pardot.
