Q: Where do these branding guidelines and policies apply?
A: Everywhere. The branding guidelines include, but are not limited to: websites, social media, marketing collateral, data sheets, white papers, promotional videos, and merchandise (e.g. t-shirts, toys, pens, bags).

Q: What is the Salesforce badge system?
A: We have created a set of badges that allows you to visually showcase your Salesforce partnership with customers. Whether you are placing the partner badge on your webpage, or sponsoring a booth at an event, this new system will help others recognize your partnership with Salesforce.
Q: What do the different badge designs mean and who can use them?
A: We have five different badge types for partners to take advantage of. Please only use the badges that apply to you. This system was created to ensure distinction and significance for our ecosystem, so please leverage them accordingly.
All Partners
These badges are intended to celebrate that you are a Salesforce partner. Badge usage is up to the partner's discretion where it is most relevant.
- Salesforce Partner badge: This badge showcases that you are a Salesforce partner and a part of our connected ecosystem
- Partner Since badge: We have introduced this badge to share how long you have been a partner in the Salesforce ecosystem
- Available on AppExchange badge: For our ISV, Consulting, and Agency partners that have solution(s) available on AppExchange - this is the badge for you. Intended to be used to highlight App, Bolt, Component, and/or Flow solutions that are available on AppExchange today.
Consulting Partners
This set of badges is specific to Consulting Partners and are to illustrate mastery of a product and/or industry expertise.*
- Master badge: For consulting partners that have demonstrated experience and customer success across an entire product or industry. All requirements must be met to earn this badge.
- Specialist badge: For consulting partners that have earned at least one specialization within the relevant cloud or industry. Specializations are achieved based on a set number of projects, stories, and customer references. Currently Datorama is only available as a specialization. *On a quarterly basis, once a new specialization is earned, the partner will receive an email notification. If a consulting partner is graduating to a master or a specialist for Datorama, that notification email will include the respective badge.
Q: Are there different badges for AppExchange/ISV and Consulting and Agency Partners?
A: The Salesforce Partner and Available on AppExchange badges are both available to AppExchange/ISV and Consulting and Agency Partners.
Q: For Consulting Partner badges, why have the medal tiers been removed?
A: To simplify the Salesforce partner badges and celebrate our ecosystem, we wanted to use one Salesforce partner badge for all our partners types.
As part of the future vision of the Salesforce Partner Program for Consulting Partners - this August, medal tiers will no longer be referenced or reflected in market. Rather, Navigator will become the way our partners will demonstrate expertise as it allows differentiation based on proven industry expertise, Salesforce product knowledge, and customer success. This change supports our continued focus on customer success and helping to make it easier for our customers to find the right partner.
Q: We have a Bolt (Component or Flow) solution, which badge should I use?
A:The best badge to use is Available on the AppExchange (coming soon)
Q: I received an email from 'brandprotection@mm-salesforce.com' concerning branding violations? Is that an official email from Salesforce?
A: Yes. We use MarkMonitor for branding enforcement purposes, which uses the email alias: brandprotection@mm-salesforce.com.
Q: How can I leverage the benefits of the partner ecosystem without negatively impacting Salesforce brands?
A: Follow these best practices:
- Give your company and its products unique and original brand names.
- Emphasize your brands above all others in your materials
- Treat Salesforce's brands as the [trademarks] that they are.
- Use only badges approved for use by Salesforce partners (“Partner Approved Badges”)
- Use your own original videos, designs, and images.
- When in doubt, submit inquiries to Salesforce via the Partner Community.
