Q: Why do some of the assets require me to register to download for the assets?
A: Yes, some of the industry assets are still being converted from our main site, so we’ll still ask you to register for some assets.
Q: How do I engage with the Salesforce.org Nonprofit sales team?
A: Please enter new leads through the Business tab of the Partner Community. If you are in direct communication with a salesforce AE you can also request that they select you for source credit or joint source credit as appropriate.
Q: I don't see the Business tab in my Partner Community dashboard. What should I do?
A: If you don't see the Business tab, it means that you don't have access to it. If this is the case, please reach out to your Partner Community administrator to grant you the "Manage Leads", "Manage Opportunities", & "Manage Projects" permissions.
Q: Does Salesforce.org have special certifications or requirements for working with Higher Education customers?
A: Technically, any Salesforce Partner can work with a Higher Education institution. However, working in the Nonprofit and Public Higher Education vertical market is very different from the commercial market. Our experience tells us successful Salesforce Partners working in Higher Education have three key attributes:
- Domain experience and a track record of delivering technology solutions into Higher Education
- Formal Higher Education practice with specific revenue goals and business owner
- Broad consulting skills across systems, process, and people
Q: What are the requirements for becoming a recognized partner of Salesforce.org?
A: To be officially recognized as a Salesforce.org partner, your firm must demonstrate that you meet the minimum requirements and select a partnership level that is appropriate to your organizations engagement in our Go-To-Market.
