Overview

Can anyone become an Accredited Professional?
This is a unique benefit only to partners who have access to Partner Learning Camp.

How much does the exams cost?
$150 USD plus applicable taxes. From July launch date until January 31, 2022 all the Accredited Professional exams will be discounted to $75 USD plus applicable taxes. The price will increase to $150 on February 1, 2022. The cost to retake the exam is not discounted and remains at $75 USD plus applicable taxes.

How quickly after I pass a credential, can I see it in my profile in PLC and receive the certificate with badge?

Where can I find the candidate code of conduct for Accredited Professional exams?
At Salesforce, trust is our #1 value. Protecting the security of Accredited Professional credentials is up to all of us. By taking an Accredited Professionals exam, you accept the Program Terms for Learning and Credentials, subject to the Salesforce Program Agreement(collectively, “Program Agreement”). Failure to comply with the Program Agreement, Exam Rules, proctor instructions, or any other test taking requirements provided by Salesforce or Examity (exam vendor) will result in disciplinary action.

Can I retake the exam if I did not pass?
We highly encourage your to revisit and review the curriculum for the exam in PLC before attempting to pass the exam again. Once you are confident in your knowledge, you can retake the exams at any time. The retake cost is $75 USD plus applicable taxes.

Are vouchers available for Accredited Professional exams?
Yes, vouchers will be available for the exams later in the year. More details on this are coming soon.

Is bulk purchasing available for Accredited Professional exams?
Not yet but we have plans in our roadmap for partners to purchase in bulk in the future.

Can I use the vouchers for Trailhead certs and for Accredited Professional credentials interchangeably?
No. Vouchers issued for Trailhead certifications cannot be used for Accredited Professional credentials and (you guessed it) Accredited Professional vouchers cannot be used for Trailhead certifications.

How will customers know which Accredited Professional credential a partner has earned?
Consultant listings in AppExchange will be updated later in the year to reflect achieved Navigator distinctions with Accredited Professional credentials.

What language are the exams and content in?
All exams and content will be in English.

How can I get notified when new exams or courses are available in PLC?
Keep an eye out for more information about exams and curricula in the Partner Navigator and Partner Learning Camp collaboration groups in the Partner Community. We will also post updates to the AP Partner Community Page.

If I leave my current partner firm, am I able to keep the credential?
Accredited Professional credentials (in addition to all PLC enrollment and completion) can move with you to the new partner firm. Please open a support case here so we can transfer your achievements. Each credential will need to be maintained by completing maintenance content in PLC at least once a year. If your new employer is not part of the Salesforce partner program, you won’t have access to PLC and won’t be able to maintain the credential.

How do I maintain my Accredited Professional credential?
One of the benefits of holding an Accredited Professional credential is always being up-to-date on product and industry updates. As such, you will be required to complete the credential maintenance content in Partner Learning Camp. If you do not complete all maintenance requirements by the due date, your credential will expire.
We will share the planned maintenance schedule and all relevant details later this year.

Navigator and Partner Programs

Will Accredited Professional status count toward my Trailblazer Score?
Yes, by passing an exam partners can earn points towards the program’s Customer Success and Innovation Trailblazer metrics in the Trailblazer Score. Partners will see the impact of these new credentials later in the year. We will share exact dates soon.

Will Accredited Professional exams count towards the knowledge check requirement in Navigator?
Yes. Like the Trailhead certification, the Accredited Professional credential will count towards your knowledge check requirement for certain Navigator distinctions.

How do I make sure my system meets the exam requirements?
Use Examity’s Computer System Requirements Check. Always run this check again right before you start your exam. For more help, check out these Troubleshooting Tips. Please note that some organization that have restrictive firewalls will block the use of Chrome extensions.
