Happy Trails!

If you’ve been paying attention to Salesforce lately, you’ve probably heard a lot about Trailhead. We’re pretty excited about Trailhead—it’s the most engaging way to learn about Salesforce, and it’s already helped thousands of people transform their careers by giving them access to skills that grow more valuable by the day.

When you hear the term Trailblazer, you probably think of someone who lives and breathes Trailhead. And there’s definitely some truth to that—we’ve handed out over 2.5 million badges on content ranging from marketing, business strategy, and sales all the way down to the nitty gritty details of developing Lightning components and writing secure Javascript code.

More Than Just a Metaphor

Being a Trailblazer means more than tearing through Trailhead modules. When you’re a Trailblazer at Salesforce, you’re:

  • A pioneer, an innovator, a lifelong learner—a mover and shaker

  • A leader who leaves a path for others to follow

  • Most importantly, a person who builds a better world for others

You had something in mind when you decided to become a Salesforce AppExchange partner. Maybe you identified a specific challenge to solve for a specific sector, or you noticed that you and your customers are spending too much time on some tedious bookkeeping process. Maybe you’re just making it more fun to do business. Whatever it is you’re building, you’re working toward a solution that improves the world for your customers.

And it doesn’t stop there. When you give your customers new superpowers that save them time and let them do amazing things, they can turn around and use those powers to help their own customers. The Salesforce platform is a multiplier, not only for you, but for all those who benefit from your work. As a Salesforce partner, you’ve already bought into the Trailblazer vision. Now all you have to do is step forward and accept your destiny.

It’s a good time to be a Salesforce partner—we’re releasing new trails all the time, and we’ve never had so many resources that allow you to explore and interact with the platform. Don’t Take Our Word For It, Listen to Jenny

Trailhead can empower anyone to learn how to build with Salesforce and launch on AppExchange. Meet Jenny Munoz who is transforming an industry by digitizing the assistance dog placement process.

Jenny founded Dog Tracker & Client Tracker, a custom application designed specifically for service dog organizations. It all started when her aunt asked for help with managing her service dog business. She needed a better way to manage the historically paper and pen process. Jenny heard about the Salesforce platform and started teaching herself how to build on Salesforce. When she realized there was a broader demand for what she was creating for her aunt, she decided to package it and list it on AppExchange. She took her idea and transformed it into an AppExchange app within a matter of months and has already begun to close customers.

Jenny’s journey as an entrepreneur has just begun as she is now 100% focused on her app. Over the coming months, she is using Trailhead to learn more about building on the Lightning Framework, and plans to incorporate it in her next release.

Jenny, a trailblazer in the Assistance Dog industry, is helping transform a previously onerous paper process into a streamlined app that anyone can find on AppExchange. Most recently, one of her customers showed Dog Tracker to a representative from Assistance Dogs International, who noted that everyone should consider using a product like this to manage the full dog and client placement lifecycle.
