Your first stop to a great demo!
Selling Salesforce can be hard, especially if you don't have the right demo. Customers demand diverse solutions that can be time consuming to replicate for a pre-sales demo. At Salesforce we face this problem too, but value the importance great demos have in our sales deals. To maximize our time with the customer, we've build a set of methodologies and tools to help us deliver great demos without re-inventing the wheel each time. On this page, we will teach you how to access demos of our products and where to find the best demo resources.
Note: The product demos on this page are available to partners for development, testing, and demo purposes only. If you need to direct customers to a product free trial, go here.

Stand Alone | This refers to an org you signup for through a specific form that creates a pre-configured org with the proper licenses and apps for the given stand alone demo environment you requested. It is aimed towards giving a product specific demo (e.g. Einstein Analytics). Q: What's the best demo environment for me? Do you have any best practices to share?
A: The best answer is the Partner Developer Edition (PDE). We recommend Trialforceing a PDE with your demo configurations and data, and creating new org for each demo using the Environment Hub. All of these features are available to all partners, and they allow partners to create easily create scalable demo environments specific to their company. In addition, the PDE never expires, it has more licenses than a normal Developer Edition org, and has the ability to get upgraded with more product licenses by simply logging a case. Create a PDE and add the licenses, data, and configurations you need as a basis for all your demos. Then, Trialforce this org to get a template ID you can use in Environment Hub to create new orgs for each demo without having to add the same data and configurations for each one.
Q: How do I find the right environment for my demo?

- Consider any other demo environments listed in the Supported Demo Environments tab in the Product Demo Environment table (see "Demo Environments" tab) you might have access to.
- Identify the Salesforce products you want to demo after working with your customer to discover their business challenges.
- Use the Demo Environment Types table (see "Demo Environments" tab) to become familiar with the different demo environments available to partners.
- Find the Salesforce product you want to demo in the Product Demo Environment table (see "Demo Environments" tab).
- If you need training, check out the training link and associated Collaboration Group in the Product Demo Environment table (see "Demo Environments" tab) and learn more about the product.
- Use the Recommended Demo Environment tab in the Product Demo Environment table (see "Demo Environments" tab) to see what environment is recommended to all partners.
A: For your own use, and to practice basic development on Force.com, start with your own Developer Edition org and review Getting Started on Developer Force. When building your commercial application, create a Partner Developer Edition (PDE) org with Environment Hub. PDE's have more capacity and can support the editions you need (PE, EE for example). Review the Partner Development, Test, and Demo Environments page for details about each environment.
Q: Will the Consulting Partner and the Enterprise Edition environments come ready “out of the box” for Sales, Service, Communities, Desk.com, Work.com?
A: These environments have been designed with limited demo data. There will be additional setup to configure product capabilities such as SOS, Live Agent or data integration with google maps.
Q: When do the environments expire?
A: Developer Edition and Partner Developer Edition organizations are available as long as you're a Salesforce user. Enterprise, Platform, and Professional Edition organizations expire after 1 year unless you request an extension. You can request an extension by submitting this case in the Partner Community.
Q: Are there any technical requirements for using SalesforceIQ for Sales Cloud?
A: Yes. SalesforceIQ for Sales Cloud users with Gmail accounts must have IMAP enabled. Users with MS Exchange accounts must have Active Sync and Web Services enabled.
