Being a Salesforce Consulting partner involves making important decisions early: defining your practice focus (Product, Market Segment, Industry, Services, Region), setting goals for success (# of Certifications and Projects completed in year 1, ACV Targets, Customer Satisfaction Score), understanding key terms and definitions, and having access to the resources available. Q: Can you tell me more about the Salesforce Partner Program for Consulting Partners?
A: The Salesforce Partner Program for Consulting Partners is designed for firms that are inspired to lead the next phase of innovation and help companies connect with their customers in entirely new ways. The Salesforce Partner Program offers a robust set of resources, training, and tools, enabling you to develop expertise around specific business functions, product areas, and industries so you can expertly serve your customers, differentiate your practices, and grow a profitable business.
Q: How does the Salesforce Partner Program work?
A: The Salesforce Partner Program for Consulting Partners is based on a tiered structure that recognizes the total contribution each company makes to its Salesforce partnership. The program offers five partnership tiers based on a company’s commitment and the maturation of its Salesforce business: Global Strategic, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Registered.
Q: Are there any other training resources available?
A: Yes!

Q: How long can I remain "provisionally registered" with 0 certifications?
A: Six months. All new Consulting Partners have six months from their program enrollment date to complete the enrollment criteria, and are in a provisional status in the interim.
Q:What happens after the six months and I still haven’t achieved a certification?
A: We will evaluate all Registered partners to ensure they have met the minimum requirements. If we find a partner has not yet met these requirements, their partnership will be up for review.
Q: I heard that partners are eligible for free CRM licenses. Where can I learn more?
A: Partners with at least one (1) certified professional on staff are entitled to two (2) free CRM for Partners EE Licenses. Free Enterprise Edition (EE) licenses may be obtained by submitting a case and are issued annually based on case submittal and partner eligibility. Licenses are provided in addition to existing licenses purchased by the partner organization.
