MANAGE YOUR LISTING IN 7 STEPS

1. If this is the first time updating your listing, please request "Manage Listings" permissions from your Partner Community Admin >
2. Design your listing graphics
3. Write your listing copy
4. Make sure to add a gated demo or test drive if you are an ISV. Please make sure to gate your "Learn More" button if you are a consulting partner. Gating can be done from the Leads tab in your Publishing Console.
5. Launch your listing
6. Monitor your listing analytics regularly and update your listing accordingly

Q: Why should we list on the AppExchange, can't we just direct customers to our website?
A: AppExchange is the leading global cloud marketplace for enterprise solutions and services. Salesforce customers come to the AppExchange every day to find apps and services. As they search, you want to make sure that your app or service is listed to increase the visibility of your product. AppExchange does not compete with your website, rather it is complementary. Many of our most successful partners maintain a strong AppExchange listing, and also direct prospects and customers to their websites for more details or special promotions.

Q: Is listing on the AppExchange required?
A: No. Though we strongly recommend all partners increase the visibility of their solution or service with an AppExchange listing, it is not a program requirement.

Q: How much does it cost to list on AppExchange?

A: All paid apps pay a $150 annual listing fee. Please note, there is a one-time fee of $2550 for the Security Review of your app. There is no fee for free apps or Consulting Partner listings.

Q: Is AppExchange for ISV Partners or Consulting Partners?
A: It is for both. ISV Partners should list their app(s) or other solution(s), while Consulting Partners should list their service(s).

Q: How can I access the Publishing Console?

A: You can list your solution or service through the Publishing Console in the Publishing Tab in the Partner Community. If you don't see the Publishing tab, it means you don't have the permission to access it. Please reach out to your Partner Community administrator (at http://p.force.com/profile) to grant you the "Manage Listings" permission.

Q: How can I connect my packaging organization to the AppExchange?
A: To publish a listing on the AppExchange, first connect the packaging organization, which is the organization that contains your packaged app or component. Follow these steps to connect your packaging organization: 
- Log in to the Partner Community 
- On the Publishing page, click the Organizations tab 
- Click Connect Organization 
- Enter the login credentials for the organization that contains the package you want to list. 
- Click Submit If AppExchange finds any packages, they appear on the Packages tab on the Publishing page. 

If AppExchange finds any packages, they appear on the Packages tab on the Publishing page. From the Packages tab, create an app or component listing, or begin the security review.

How can I track my AppExchange listing performance?

A: AppExchange Marketplace Analytics provides insights to both ISV and Consulting partners, sharing how customers are finding and interacting with their AppExchange listing. All partners with an active AppExchange listing and the “Manage Listing” permission will have access to AppExchange Marketplace Analytics.

Q: Are there specific dimensions or formats that we must adhere to?
A: Please follow the below specs to create the necessary assets for your listing: 
Tile: Shown in the top 6 search results 
- Specs: 224x164 pixels, PNG only 

Icon: Shown in search results and on listing 
- Specs: 60x60 pixels, PNG only 

Screenshot: Shown on listing 
- Specs: 700x467 pixel jpg or png no larger than 1MB

Q:  I am an ISV and have solutions for multiple industries. How many can I add to our listing? How do I add them?
A: Each ISV listing can feature up to one category and two industries, with exceptions. To add an industry to your listing or to change the category, you must log a case in the Partner Community.


Q: How do I get a 100% Native or a Lightning Ready badge?
A: Please submit a case in the Partner Community for access to the 100% Native badge. You can find a Lightning Ready badge checkbox in the publishing console.

Q: For Japanese Partners - How do I setup a Japanese AppExchange listing for apps already listed on Global AppExchange?
A:  Refer to this document for the instructions >

Q:As an AppExchange partner, can I include awards and rankings on our listing? 
A:You may do so if the claim is:

Verifiable: cited by a credible third-party, like an analyst.
Timely: within the last 2yrs.
Public-facing: should not be a Salesforce employee quotes.
Correctly cited: always include the source (adjacent to the claim) and only use legitimate award graphics.
Specific + Accurate: avoid AppExchange rankings; they can change at any time.
