Improved Renewal Experience with Catalog Update
We’re pleased to announce that it is now easier to renew your customers. Partners are now able to see all products -- not just those in their current agreements -- in existing catalogs when renewing or upgrading customers. No action is needed to enable this change. This will greatly improve the partner experience by decreasing the time it takes to renew. We look forward to this update, as well as several more partner experience improvements in the coming months.
What is changing?
Originally, if a partner had multiple distribution agreements, they could only renew under the same agreement and could not change partner catalogs. For example, a customer who has an OEM agreement would like to transition to an ISVForce program would not have the option to use that catalog to renew customers. Now, partners will be able to select any product for renewals and upgrades, as they will see all products in the existing catalog.
