Highlight Customer Success on Your Consulting AppExchange Listing

Customer success is the heart of your work as a Salesforce consulting partner. And in speaking with you at events like Dreamforce, we know that you’ve contributed to some incredible customer success stories. That’s why we’re excited to launch a new tool for sharing those stories on your consulting service listing: Featured Resources for Consulting Partners, now available on AppExchange.


Introducing Featured Resources for Consulting Partners

A featured resource is a new type of customer resource that displays prominently on your consulting service listing (1). You can feature a PDF file or link to an external resource, such as a page on your company’s website. Each featured resource includes a tagline and thumbnail image to help you share your story of customer success.


What kind of content should I feature?  
It’s up to you, but we think that the best resources are ones that showcase the amazing work you’re doing with Salesforce customers. Case studies and testimonials work especially well. 


Where do I manage featured resources for my listing?

You can manage featured resources in the Publishing Console. You can add up to two featured resources per listing. Here’s how.
  1. 1. In the Partner Community page header, click your profile icon, and then click Publishing Console.
  2. 2. From the Listings tab, click a consulting service listing.
  3. 3. Click Media.
  4. 4. Under Featured Resources (2), click Add Link or Upload PDF.
  5. 5. Provide the required details for the resource, including a tagline and image. For the image, use a JPG or PNG file that’s 270 pixels wide by 180 pixels tall.
  6. 6. When you’re finished, click Save.

 
What happens to existing resources on my consulting service listing? 
Featured resources supplement your listing’s existing customer resources, and you can add, edit, and remove your existing resources as you did before. The only difference is that existing resources are now found in a section called Additional Resources on the Media tab. Previously, this section was called Customer Resources.


Can I add featured resources to other listing types, such as app listings?
Currently, featured resources are available only for consulting service listings. However, if you’re interested in seeing featured resources available for other listing types, we’d love to hear from you.
